Created and produced by Vince Gilligan (The X-Files), Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White (Bryan Cranston, How I Met Your Mother), a chemistry teacher whose number is up. Diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and standing to lose nothing, he begins making top quality methamphetamines with Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul, Bones), a former student, to secure his family’s financial future. The two put themselves on the map, but fame spells complications… Walter deals with highbinders and even comes to commit murder. On top of all that, a DEA team led by his brother in law, Hank Schrader (Dean Norris, Grey’s Anatomy), is after “Heisenberg,” our hero’s doppelganger in the drug world.

Feeling that there is a snake in the grass, Skyler (Anna Gunn, The Practice), Walter’s wife and the mother of their children, Walter Jr. (RJ Mitte, Stump) and Holly, confronts him. Upon learning about her husband’s recent activities, she demands a divorce and threatens to call the police if he doesn’t keep on the course. As if that weren’t enough, Marie (Betsy Brandt, NCIS) Hank’s wife and Skyler’s kleptomaniac sister pokes her nose into everyone’s affairs. Although Hank refuses to lay his heart bare, she remains his most tenacious advocate.

The man who always gets Walter and Jesse out of mess is Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk, Weeds), a crooked lawyer. The kind of guy who “knows a guy who knows a guy”, he also lends them a helping hand with the business. However, Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks, Modern Family) is the one who does all the dirty work. Although he works for Saul, Mike sticks with Gustavo Fring (Giancarlo Esposito, Once Upon a Time), the owner of the regional fast food chain Los Pollos Hermanos who happens to be a king pin in his spare time.
