Watch CSI OnlineAlso known as CSI: Las Vegas, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation focuses on a team of forensic investigators trained to solve cases by examining the evidence. They work the clock round, scouring the crime scene in search of the missing pieces that will decipher the mystery. The new CSI supervisor of the night shift, D.B. Russell (Ted Danson, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Damages) takes the helm of the team after steering the Seattle Crime Lab. An avid reader, he has a thing about crime novels. More by token, this “Left Coast” Sherlock Holmes inspects every crime scene as if it were a story waiting to be told. His crew includes Catherine Willows, Julie Finlay, Nick Stokes, Sara Sidle, Greg Sanders and Morgan Brody.

The team’s former supervisor, Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger, ER, King of the Hill) was very hard tried. Despite her intuitive intelligence and sharp mind, she went off the rails. However, one day, she decided to return to school. Catherine graduated from West Las Vegas University with a degree in Medical Science and joined the CSI gang as a lab technician. The newest member of the team, Julie Finlay (Elisabeth Shue, Leaving Las Vegas, Hollow Man) is a blood pattern expert. She will fill Catherine’s shoes. Specialized in hair and fiber analysis, Nick Stokes (George Eads, Justice League Unlimited, Two and a Half Men) was more than once in a crowded situation. Because he was molested at a young age, his character is portrayed as more empathetic than his coworkers’. Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox, Law & Order, Partners) is a materials and element analyst. The moral compass of the gang, she will go to almost any lengths to make sure that justice is served. Once a giddy DNA technician, Greg Sanders (Eric Szmanda, Rules of Attraction) is now an experienced forensic investigator. As for Morgan Brody (Elisabeth Harnois, One Tree Hill), she is a former member of Los Angeles Crime Lab who still has a lot to learn about politics and family.

The CSI team members also work closely with captain Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle, Ally McBeal), the former chief, now assigned to the Homicide Division, Dr. Albert Robbins (Robert David Hall, Beverly Hills, 90210), the medical examiner, his wisecracking assistant, David Phillips (David Berman, Heroes) and David Hodges (Wallace Langham, Monk), a lab technician who has an uncanny sense of smell and is able to identify many key chemical compounds by their scent alone.
