    The appletini is NOT atribute to JD, it's drink consumed by many people and used in many movies and tv shows as a joke to show a more feminen side to a man or mascuine woman. Honestly, I love Scrubs as much as anyone, but the use of a joke they made in something else does not make it a 'stolen' joke. This episode was hilarious, stob judging!

    Dude most of these sitcom writers are jewish and probably distant relatives that are are close family – they're bound to copy or mimick similar ideas. Stop getting your knickers in a twist and enjoy the alternative joke and most importantly the show :P

    i think your right… but i think that the first three seasons of himym are better then the first three ones of friends. but after robin and barney broke up, nothing worth mentioning happened on the show, it remained the same, whereas friends got better and better and finally peaked in a genius 9th and 10th season, which i think are the two best seasons ever… of any show… i have seen so far.

    Everyone should just stop comparing them. Oh no! A sitcom about a group of friends in New York. Its obviously a rip off… But its not. Its a completely different show. Friends was good but now even the last series is really old. Friends is dead and I say Bring on HIMYM!!!

    Just saw the new episode, wasn't too keen on it. It was really funny but the story was kind of rubbish. Still missing the “legen-wait for it-dary” saying to come back but barney was reallty funny in this one.

    WHY does this keep coming up? Neil Patrick Harris is gay. Barney is straight. So what? He was never going to love you anyway.

    If anything, it just confirms what a great actor NPH is, although acting is just that – you play a part that is not necessarily anything like what you are in real life.

    I struggle to see how comments like yours really have any place in a developed society.
