Lost Season 6 Episode 13 The Last Recruit

Eloise planned all along that her son should come back to the island, because she knew that this would influence events in such a manner that the “parallell” universe would “happen”. As a kid, she didn't allow him to play the piano and forced him to learn physics, because she knew that this would be the only way that he could get back to the island and change things. SO of course he had to be a professional musician in the parallell story. Widmore (her husband and Daniels dad) worked towards the same goal all along, although I am not sure why they started to fight and stopped working together after they left the island. I think they both knew they could use the island to influence the future (or the parallell universe) but did not know how it would turn out.

I really dont get it anymore, will the people now realize they have lived another life and start to try to go back to it when everyone knew someone??
and why there is so much resemblence bteween characters stories?? jack's dad dies and then was in the island? was he a previous lock where he played the monster? is Desmond the next Jacob?

It is a pity that I have to watch it in russian, although I know russian but the original version is totaly diffirent.
