Supernatural Season 5 Episode 18 Point of No Return

Summary:
Dean decides that it is time for him to give in and become Michael’s vessel because he cannot stand to see any more people dying. But it seems that the angels came up with another plan that involves bringing Adam back to life to take Dean’s place.

Castiel manages to take Adam before the angels come and Sam has Dean on a lock down. After the angels take Adam and Sam and Dean go to rescue him, Zachariah gets what he deserved and Michael gets his way.

Season 5 Epi 19 “Hammer of the gods”
Sam and Dean are kidnapped by a group of gods, including Kali (hindu god), Ganesh (hindu god) and Baldur (norse god) and held hostage in a small hotel. The gods want to use Sam and Dean as bargaining chips to stop the Apocalypse, but Gabriel shows up and warns them that if Lucifer finds them he will kill them all. Unfortunately, one of the gods turns on the rest and Lucifer appears.

Zack was just a Warrior Angel not a Archangel.

There's only like 4 Archangels: Gabriel,Michael,Lucifer and Raphael.

That sword won't work on Lucifer because not even the Colt would. So far the only known way to kill Lucifer is to say yes to Michael.

There are 7 Archangels!

I loved the episode and think Dean's back in the game. Sam did the right thing letting Dean go cause it restored Dean's Faith . Also now Dean has faith in Sam as he say's basically sorry. I don't think however Cass had to beat him up like that . He could have just touched him and he would have fainted. But anyway maby Cass is lost and upset at god. But there's a thing i don't understand . Is when Adam come's back Cass say's to Dean maby they have moved on from you cause your to weak, like he wanted him to say yes. Then later on he beat's him up for trying to.

But so GLAD Dean and Sam have got there close connection back . xx

This was a really good episode. I think Supernatural is BACK!!! Oh and this was the 100th episode. Good JOB SUPERNATURAL!

This is what I was thinking the whole time Adam was there at Bobby's with his attitude I'm the one, I'm the one; “I HATE Adam. He should die. He should have never been BORN! That's it!!! It's always been Dean and it should stay that way. There is no way Adam is stealing Dean's thunder…” I guess, my prayers has been answered!!

There was some things in this episode that you would never have guessed, like Dean being locked up in Bobby's cell, and Cas beating him up. I say, he deserved the beating, just enough to wake him up. Lesson learned, never piss Cas off!!!

It's funny how Dean says that he doesn't have faith in Sam, which pretty much crushes him, and then later Cas says the same thing to Dean…they all look up to each other. Sam looks up to Dean, and Dean looks up to Cas. Cas is more like the older brother Dean never had…. I liked that part!

On February 16, 2010, Supernatural was renewed for a sixth season.[92] Series creator Eric Kripke will step down as showrunner, but will remain actively involved in the writing of the show. Executive producer Sera Gamble will now oversee the day-to-day production. Both Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki have six year contracts, so as the network has chosen to continue the show, they will return for at least one more season. Padalecki stated that if the show is no longer compelling after a possible sixth season, that he will not return for more. Sera Gamble, who will take over the showrunner position, had said that the sixth and possible final season of the show will focus on the brothers' relationship.

season 4 episode 22 lucifer rising castiel uses the angel banishment spell and does not disepear himself but in this episode he does. those kind of mistakes are quite annoing. love supernatural though:)

but this episode made me think of something
y dont they try to use one of those shiny silver stakes to kill Satan
i mean he was the first angel to fall, Cas fell just the same
they tried to kill Cas in this episode with the silver stakes so y not try it on the devil

Well in season 4 episode 22 and in other episodes, the “angel banishment spell” is on the wall, which is why he doesn't disappear, whereas this episode the spell is on his chest, more effective, so I'm guessing that's why he doesn't disappear with them…
