    i wanna see more desmond episodes,i think he's a silent player of jacobs… i just watched season 3 episode 17, something he says to his ex girlfriend ruth in his flashback…about waking up wiv a man standing over him and the first thing he noticed was string around his waist,he described jacob right?? i definately think jacob has seen the bigger picture and knows how things play out… i'm thinking we'll see more of des………

    Jacob's area seem to deal more with live and light. The MIB seems to deal with death and sneakiness. I think these are like the 'specialities' of both. The Ancient Egyptian statue is of a god in Pharonic times. Which one I am not sure exactly.Ancient Egyptians worshiped plenty of gods…Makes you wonder why they have this statue,and why Jacob lives in one.. :)

    Also, Did you guys notice how the MIB said the exact same thing to Richard as the Asian guy(I dont remember his name) told Saeed…'Stab him really quickly,,If he talk it will be too late..He can be persuasive'

    i really hope the remaining survivors the ones we got tolove and know…kate,jak,sawyre,jin,sun,desmond,claire,hurley,sayid and that surviveor i will be pissed off because they are what was important in the whole first four or five seasons, they are the story !

    Finally! Now were getting somewhere! I now know how the statue broke, why Ricardo never gets old and that Jacob was good along! But I still havent figured out what, the guy who wants to leave, deal is? What I mean is what is he? I know he's evil and kinda manipulative but I still havent had all my questions answered!
    Oh yeah and who built the statue? And something that keeps coming back to me is the begining of this season episode 1. There was a scene with the whole island underwater!!
    This show is way addictive lol! Roll on episode 10!!!!!!

    6. There is an episode and it shows Walt in highschool so Walt goes back to highschool when he gets off the island, aaron is living with clares mum and there are gonna be more episodes with desmond but he is with penlope now.

    i thought right from season 2 that that it was something to do with everyone on the island being dead already or half way between life and death . it had to be the show is answering alot of questions now and i hope we all find out what the whole story is based upon cool episode

    people! remember the flashforward about Jin and Sun in episode “Ji Yeon” in season 4? what's happened with Jin? I mean when Sun was giving birth Jin should be in the Island right? And yet he didn't left it! But in that flash he was in city giving a panda to some chinese ??? And in season 5 were the reasons to the flashforwards ( 4 example why kate was raising claire's son ) but Jin's!?? Anybody???

    So I'm guessing that the island is some sort of waiting area/final test in-between heaven and hell…and depending on what you do there decides where you go….thoughts?

    well i think that episode was about sun who was one of the oceanic 6 and at the same time it was a flashforward for jin…..in the beginnin,it didn't clarifie the different time-periods to make a suspense ….but in the end it was obvious that there were different time periods….
    i hope i ve been of some help…actually i hope i ve made myself understandable :D

    There's no such thing as GOOD or BAD… but everyone has this feelings in their minds that went they do something they do it for a reason and you can either be proud or feel guilty.

    This feelings come from let's call it THE FORCES because no one has proof of it or names and no one can pretend to define them…we simply feel it but it has to come from somewhere…

    In this case (lost) its the black force and the white force… what you decide is good or bad is up to you just like in real life as everyone decides what path they take. And depending on your choices of life the balance between the two forces will be set through you and for each person individually.

    Now everyone trys to sell you that they are the GOOD side and they are all right becasue it was their own choices… just like in real life but its up to you to decide what is YOUR GOOD SIDE.

    In lost its either
    White : follow leader blindly, dont ask questions and never doubt, put others and leader before yourself, suffer for others and leader, self-sacrifice, etc…
    Black: follow leader and get something in return, kill people who are not on your side, get what you want in the detriment of everyone else, etc…

    like is said theres no such thing as bad or good…what you decide is up to you..you decide what is good FOR YOU

    Only thing is, Hurley could talk to dead people long before he met Jacob, so I don't think it was a gift from him. I think Jacob chose Hurley because he could talk to dead people, and he knew he would come in useful.

    A lot of them were killed on the beach, when Jack and Co. were at the communications tower at the end of season 3 or 4. Remember Hurley knocked someone down with the van? And Sawyer shot a few?

    So you mean Jin flashforward is happening later than Sun's? if so somewhere down the line Jin will leave the Island , right? I wonder what happened and that will happen… ( God! It's so confusing that I don't know which time tense to use!)

    actually i mean that it was a flahback for jin …before being crashed with the airplain, before being lost….before the accident anyway!!!! and at the same episode there was a flashforward for sun …after being rescued , she and the other 5!!!!!!!
    i think it's better now!!!!!!!!

    Yeah that's exactly what it was. I was reading all the comments and having a WTF moment, and I was about to say the same thing as you did. At least that clears things up.

    It's easy to see why people got confused though. It's a long time ago now, and both the flashback and the flashforward involved the same theme.

    well , actually it was my fault at the first time because i wanted to write “flashback for jin” and i wrote “flashforward”…so BTS was rightfully confused about what i said then.
    but nealmac you are right …there are too much flashbacks and flashforwards in the last seasons and it's so easy to get lost!

    In the conversation with Rchard and Jacob, Jacob says MIB have claimed evry human can be corrupted/turned bad, my guess if we belive Jacob, its about self sacrifice, the candidate somehow scrifice himself, preventing MIB from leaving the island and becomes the new Jacob.

    I have stated it before, now again with another reason, if he was bad he would hide he was the smoke monster, but he told anyone (ekcept thoose from temple) he was the smoke monster.

    ehhh . the jin part of that episode was actually a flash back, while the sun part was a flash forward to when she was giving birth at which time she had thought jin had died on the freighter

    Sayid was killing people for Ben, everyone who had anything to do with Nadia's Death because she was killed by people after Sayid!! (Hope this helped)!! :) :)

    Acording to Linus, the hit's Sayid took out was working for widmore and a threat to thoose who returned from the island, but its a very vage storie and dont really tell us anything, maybe one of the next episodes will be about that
