    Ben is on the good side because he is precieved to be sooo bad all the time, it is a perfect switch to make him good…it would be too predictable if he is on Flockes side at the end….he needs redemption…I felt his grief when he was saying Jacob didn't help him out after he obeyed most of Jacobs commands…Jacob is untrustworthy….am I the only one rooting for Flocke…I like that dude, he or it is awesome whatever it is!!!!

    even if juliatte did blast the bomb, the only thing that should change was flight not crashing, how come linus, his dad and alex are not on island… helen and locke were seperated, locke had actually gone for a walk-about and not for a stupid conference, hurly had only gone to australia to find out about the cursed numbers, how come he considers himself so lucky, jack's wife did not get pregnant with him… i dont understand these flashes…. they are like if the Island never existed…

    those are not flashes…the plane did not crash..its another situation…they're still on the island, and at the same time, they are somewhere else..its like there is two of them: a situation where they are on the island after the plane crash, and the other is after that juliette did blast the bomb, when there is no plane crash

    Remember, in the reality where the bomb was exploded (and the plane did not crash), all the non-essential personnel were evacuated (so Linus doesn't grow up on the Island – since there is no Dharma Initiative or island to return to).

    There has to be a crossed divergence of time lines because of the plane doesn't crash, there is no one to set off the bomb – if no one sets off the bomb, the plane crashes. One set of characters exist where the Dharma Initiative and Island was destroyed in the 70's, the other set exist on a Island that wasn't destroyed and was built up by the Initiative.

    Unless I'm way wrong and they all exist in the same reality which, quite frankly, makes my head hurt…

    ben never had a daughter he took her. she was stolen from her mother danille. her mom killed her dad when she was a baby because he got sick and was trying to kill her mom.so both mom and dad died on the island hope that helps.

    It's a Alternate Reality. The Reality where the Island didn't crash is probably like that because Jacob never went to everyone so their lives weren't affected in anyway by him because he was either killed or never on the Island in the first place.

    my thoughts….
    1) i think its very fuzzy on who is good and who is bad… i think jacob is not all that good… why? b/c remember when he asked sayeed for directions which led to his girl walking alone crossing the street & getting hit by the car?
    2) i just wanted to say that the reason i love lost is b/c of the amazing characters/actors on the show. you somehow feel for all of them good/bad they have such depth…gonna miss lost!
