Maybe, as in with blood transplants, Claire's blood only works with people with the same blood type, thus limiting the amount of people her healing works with. But this is just a theory, it is only a t.v show so i guess the creators could come up with anything they like.

as I explained above, I did not suggest that the loss of the Catalyst was the reason why she doesn't heal everyone that dies, just that since that incident we have not seen her do it, so my initial thinking was that this may be part of the reason. I don't think so now I think it's just a time and place thing as you say.

Hmm.... interesting theory and the first to challenge my own which was the best explanation assuming it's not a plothole.

Claire never had the Catalyst you are correct following causality, but this is in the now altered timeline. So she would never have grown with it true. However this was not my point; my point was that since it had been extracted from her (that is the fallout from the event of Mrs Nakamura giving it to Hiro and not Claire - which was instigated by events in the previous present although affecting events in the past) she has not healed anyone with her blood.

Now Claire could have saved Nathan's life, if she was around when Sylar flew back with Nathan jus before slashing his throat, but she wasn't there remember? Angela deliberately wanted to act before Peter and Claire found out - so she must have realised that Nathan may have been dead for too long to call in Claire. Besides Noah knows almost everything about every evolved human through all his days with the Company, so I'm pretty sure he'd know what his daughter's capabilities were.

You argue they wanted to off the character because Adrian Pasdar was moving on, but he stayed in the series for more than half of season 4 (as 'Sylathan') so that doesn't follow.

We also do not know what effect Claire's blood has on dead or dying cells. People will argue that she healed Noah who'd been shot in the eye, but they were not far from The Company, there were agents all over the place, it would have been easy to carry his body back to the lab before necrosis sets in and kills the cells. This wasn't the case when Nathan or Lydia died.

It may also be that Nathan's spinal cord had been severed with Sylar's slash on his throat, thereby giving the brain only a very short time to keep functioning before total death, this may be the reason why they didn't go running around looking for Claire who left with Peter after Sylar flew off with Nathan m- they needed to save Nathan's consciousness before the body died.

But thanks too your reference to the episode Tabula Rasa where they point out why they can't use Claire's blood to save Hiro, means she still has the ability - we just do not know if it will heal others as it hasn't been done since the Catalyst incident...... which was what I said in the first place!!

Claire never -had- the catalyst, actually. Hiro's mother gave it to him right before she died, and then Arthur Petrelli took it from Hiro. Claire -could- have saved Nathan's life, but this is a television show and if a character needs to be offed, because the actor is moving on to other things or something, then they can't just automatically have Claire fix them. So, they just leave them dead and allow you people to whine.

that is so true, and that was only a couple of episodes ago, so she could have saved Lydia if she had it on her mind but their was the problem of no way of giving Lydia the blood but Claire was already bleeding at the time and so was Lydia she could have just cleaned the wound and added her blood into Lydia's system that way by addeding it through the bullet hole in her chest, it could have saved her life but not many people think about the reality of it, it isn't like Claire is going to just remember and tell people she could do that on the spot in a time of that much crisis, that her lood could do that, as this all accured in a minute which when it comes down to it is not that much time to make that choice….

About the whole Claire's blood won't heal since she lost the catalyst thing… That isn't true since Peter and Bennet dicussed giving her blood to Hiro, but Bennet said they couldn't do that because her blood regenerates tissue so the tumor would only grow. This means she can still heal people with her blood, they just couldn't transfuse it at the times when we think hey why don't they give … Claire's blood.

OK for the 100th time, you guys need to read. These questions have been answered on this very board not even a week ago. Alternatively go to the Art of Deception for detailed explanations by me on many alleged 'plotholes' that many Noobs and casual viewers tend to espouse.

Claire's blood hasn't been able to heal others since the catalyst was taken away from her in Season 3. It wasn't specifically stated, but since she has not done this since (and was present immediately after Nathan was killed by Sylar, and when Lydia was killed by Samuel) it is safe to assume that this is the reason why she has not done so.

Plus did you see any syringes or needles to carry out a transfusion under sniper rifle gunfire?
