Maybe people would rather watch it online not like on tv as they don't release the episodes asap, and its called ratatouille, and the amount of effort? They practically throw some random things in episodes and they even forget some people in episodes after they just disappear.

LOL!! Sylar went to his house, threatened his wife and then wants to be changed. How can you trust a guy who has killed hundreds of innocent people? He acted on impulse, and anyone in his shoes would have done the same thing. So, don't make Matt out to be the bad guy.

In the episode Fallout, we know from the conversation between Sylar & Noah that he had at multiple ablilities: least 6 abilities before acquiring melting, excluding telekinesis. In addition: Freezing/ice manipulation – James Walker

Other than his own natural abilities, and telekinesis which he retained from the guikt of killing Brian Davis (and I think latent memories to his mother's death by his father exercising that power) – he lost ALL abilities after injecting the Shanti virus cure.

He should now also have:

Alchemy – ability to change the composition of objects – Bob Bishop (Elle's dad)
Disintegration – Tom Miller

Telekinesis is Sylar's most commonly observed acquired ability. Before his infection, he frequently used freezing as a secondary offensive ability and the passive enhanced hearing as well. Since recovering from the virus and acquiring new abilities, he often uses the passive abilities of lie detection and rapid cell regeneration, and he also seems to favor electric manipulation, shape shifting, and clairsentience. He can use at least 2 acquired abilities at the same time and because of his intuitive aptitude, could probably use acquired abilities as good as or better than the original owner.

I think that should clear up any confusion.

When he lost his abilities from the virus in season 2, he lost most of his abilities when re-gaining them so i'm guessing the hearing was lost too

I really agree with sylar. The main focal point of the show for me is sylar and hiro.

Where's Mika, and his cousin?
-Well, i guess the writers were being kind of jackasses and got rid of mika
because of nikki dieing:/ it sucks, i love that boy. hopefully he'll show up
for season 5 if there is one. & for his his cousion i have no clue why they just
got her as a new charcter and booted her off by season 2. i really liked her her and

didnt matt get the abilty of painting the furture from that spirt walk? it was something to do with that, and he
probably can still do it. but idk because it usally happened when the dead spirt guy showed up to him

Guys if you guys aren't going to watch the episodes to understand the answers to your questions, then at least read the comments on here because ALL your questions have been answered. It's frustrating explaining the same shit to people over and over again.

Right. Hiro NEVER trusted Sylar (or 'Brain Man') as he calls him. Sylar never went back in time to save Charlie, Hiro did and encountered Sylar in the same diner where he originally killed Charlie in the original timeline (season 1). He only did this to save Charlie, NOT to save Sylar or because he believed Sylar had good in him. NOBODY except maybe HRG and Elle knew this about Sylar until Arthur Petrelli started to manipulate him in Season 3. Sylar has killed MANY normal people including his mother. Go watch past episodes.

Parkman acted in self defence. From his point of view a psychopath who he has had run-ins with before is in his house with his wife and baby son, Sylar had been 'good' before, he had no reason to believe him, and it was perfectly normal for him to imprison Sylar given their history to protect them.

Claire has not been able to use her blood to heal people since the catalyst was removed from her. It was not said but since this has not happened it is logical to assume that this is the reason. That is why she was not asked to heal Nathan when Sylar killed him, or Lydia when she was right there. Plus did you see any needles about to attempt a transfusion when bullets are flying around everywhere?

Peter, Matt, Claire and Hiro are shown so much because they embody the archetype of the concept of a superhero. If you look at their characteristics, most good heroes manifest 1 or more of their qualities. Peter and Hiro particularly are like the 'soul' of the show. That's why u see them lots. Get used to it or go read comics to understand.

Micah & Monica are still in New Orleans. Their house got destroyed in Hurricane Katrina remember? And the events of Season 4 were not taking place in their city (remember they are both minors). They don't have to be in every episode do they? People do different things in life, people lose contact or other stuff etc.

Molly has been placed in safety by Mohinder. Again, she is a minor, you don't need to see her every episode.

The Irish girl, Caitlin, was left in an alternate 2009 with the Shanti Virus when Peter accidentally teleported back to our time. When Peter and Hiro destroyed the virus, that timeline ceased to exist, which means she ceased to exist. Following causality, Caitlin is still in Ireland but has never actually met Peter. That storyline is dead as the timeline has been altered.

Jeremy (Microwave boy) went on his travels and does not need to appear again. Sylar left him. Again that story has been wrapped up.

Charlie was transported by Samuel to 1944 where she made a life of her own, married and had kids. When Hiro recovers from the tumour, he runs into her in the hospital he is in and she explains to him that she was happy to have a chance at a new life and would not want to return to her own time as her younger self.

Matt didn't acquire Isaac Mendez' powers, he acquired Usutu's, and this was in the middle of a Spirit Walk. Once the spirit walk ended he no longer retained that ability. Remember he is a telepath.

Sylar could not have known that Matt was lying to him because technically, Matt wasn't lying. He told him that he will try to help him, which was true from a certain point of view, Matt imprisoned him to 'help' him you could say, so Sylar's lie detector ability would not have picked up on this. The hearing ability was not working because at the time he was experiencing problems with ALL his powers because of the DNA reshifting and having Nathan in his consciousness. He even hinted that having so many powers was causing confusion in his head.

Sylar doesn't have most of the powers he has acquired over the past 4 years. That has been clearly stated. He lost most of the early powers when he was injected with the Shanti virus, and Prophetic vision and hearing were the 2 powers he got immediately before infection.

I think all the things which you and others have said about the writers skipping details or being inconsistent actually stems from not understanding or missing parts of the show when things are explained either visually, in conversations, in flashbacks or implication. Go back and watch episodes mate!
