    But the show was just awesome. I wonder if Joss Whedon had a hand in writing the song because it sounds like it could have come straight out of Dr. Horrible.

    Nice try writers, but I totally realised that was a tease at the start and we weren't meeting Ted's future wife. It just seemed like a bit of an abrupt introduction given how much they love messing with the audience.

    Good episode, apart from the song; literally made my skin crawl. Ugh!

    Ok, where or not the song was legen… wait for it…. dary (It was). It was a great move by the producers, because it got people talking. I just think some people didn't like it because it was a little out of step from what's expected from the show.
