i actually noticed that Lynette was sad when tom got back from work the first time.And she was holding the babies clothes.But she changed the subject twice. Maybe she had been sad all through the day when tom was gone and didn't wanted to talk about it because she was already dealing w/the sadness.Does anybody agree??HmMm.

I really feel bad for Lynette, she is feeling old and didn't want kids anymore. But tom insisted and she started to love the baby. But taking away her job and telling Carlos that she will take care of the baby is just so selfice of Tom. I mean, First you have a great job & you are finally enjoying life, while your kids grow up, Then you start to get pegnant again and your own husband is deciding your future already and takes over your job. Tom is being so selfice and childish sometimes...
I really hope Lynette can get back to work again.

I do not understand how you girls do not support Lynette. She is a mother, she rase up her boys, four kids. She has the right of being a women again. Can she only be a mother? She did not even want those babies. She had struggle a lot, now in her middle aged she wants to work, to grow up as the good professional she is. It seems to be that you guys believe women can only be in a house with babies around. Tom is a selfish guy, if he feel that way about the babies, then he is the one to stay at home with the babies to give Lynette the opportunity she deserves, she fought for that job and now Tom can take it just because she is pregnant, and some of you saying that he is a good husband. That kind of things make me believe that being pregnant is a punishment.

Lynette. she's not a bad person at all, she's been through a lot a hell of a lot more than any of the other characters and tom is kinda selfish sometimes. if I were pregnant and my husband tried to use this as an opportunity to take away my job I would be furious... but I don't think he did it intentionally, on the flip side. Lynette loves her children I think this is evident but she is very career orientated and has been throughout the series. Tom and Lynette are my favourite couple by far, they have been through so much together and stay strong as a family. I don't understand why you hate Lynette... lol.

True. They are the most wholesome family in this whole series.. Everyone else seems to have had affairs or break ups at one point or the other. Even after all they've been through they are staying together.

Lynette is right to angry abt Tom. After all his mid life crisis and wanting to open a pizzeria and going back to school and all..she's been on his side. The least he can do is support her career and ambitions.

omg you have it right all mexicans are not poor and ya know mexicans care more about there familys than americans do these days..hell they try hard to give and care for there familys more than anyone i know.. i would love to have come from such a care giving and wounderful family as my husband.. love everything about the spanish cultre. The scene with Orson ordering Bree to make him food has been shown before. Im not sure, but I think it was last season when Bree started her food company. She told Orson that she was too tierd to make him food and he kinda glared at her and made her keep her promise.

Whats wrong with these people? I LOVED Gabrielle and Carlos, pretty much they were why I kept watching (seriously, the show is worse every time) but WTF with the mexican cliché? They are not all poor, selling oranges and homeless. Plus, Gabrielle's ashamed of it cause she was poor? Seriously.

Bree and Orson... ugh, don't even get me started. Lynette boring by the day and Susan has been the most boring one since the beginning, imagine that.

I agree with all the comments made about Karl's death being almost ignored by loved ones, but just to try to be fair, here are some things that might justify it :
-Julie barely saw her father during last couple years, she lived on her own and Karl was seing her quite rarely as well when she was still young. That might explain why the shock of his death was not as harsh as it could have been if he was part of her daily life.
-Bree had a "revelation" when she was at the hospital, that if she had married Karl she would have ended up miserable and full of regrets. Also, Bree is a strong woman always hidding her deep feelings, remember when Rex died she offered her friends the bottle of Soy milk that only her husband drank, but since he died she hates to throw it away?

Also notice that Bree had been wearing black since Karl's death, so nothing's really being ignored! I think people dont see these things.

Not to mention it had been a MONTH and she's still wearing black! :) I dislike Bree since season 5 though :/
