this ep was so not crap - i didnt cry but was like on the verge of through out most of the flashbacks esp the ones with lynette and gabby.....i think it was good parenting when lynette made her child make his own sandwich, she's just preparing him from later life and so he doesnt always have to rely on others

The truth though is worse...many disabled kids don't grow up to be lawyers and successful..tv always shows the best side of a worse case scenario...

It's true but those same cliche displays inspire and motive others to be more than a "disabled person". Those displays encourage so many "disabled persons" to realise that they are really just "differently able" and even though their affect on the world may seem small it can be sooooo much bigger than they could imagine. Sometimes we need a cliche or two to remind us that if we try "impossible" could become "possible..."

All that is not to say that you're wrong, because it's true. I'm just saying there's a reason for it. :)

At first I thought that she's going to have an interesting storyline...come to think of it, can it be that she's part of the sotry of the bolens? I mean..afterall she loves danny/tylor right?

Now, for all those people who're saying this episode 'sucked', thats totally not true!!! I have watched this 3 times, I cried every single time!! Then again, everyone has the right for different opinion ehh?

About lynette, saw a post saying that lynette wasn't behaving well..I think that, when someone is in that same situation, everyone would react like that. It's hard to accept that your kid is not going to be normal ie like everyone else...and not being independent and with the possibility to not having someone to take care of him after they eventually die!

I couldn't agree with you more! Lynette is more scared of herself not being there for her son when he needs him the most.. worst, she is so scared her son will be so much dependent on her that when that time comes he will not have a clue on what to do, so she thought she could watch her son having a hard time doing the things that can help him be independent Or she can just help him right now and just wonder what will happen to him if she is not around...

It's hard being a mother but it's harder when you think you can do better and yet you did not do anything...
