@ bliblabo: robin is not the kids' real aunt. In the English language the titles "aunt" and "uncle" are often used by younger members of a family when referring to a family friend who is much older than them.

She's just a friend of the family, but called "aunt" for small kids it is a better way to recognize people and friends.. But they might be 16 (or so)... well. Dunno :-D

if u noticed, he usually refers to marsh and lil aa uncle or aunt, even though they are not related. so its the same with robin. and barney

In my theory, Robin should be the mother. If we compare the resemblance of Ted's daughter, she looks like Robin the closest... Don't you guys think?

How is Robin going to be the mother when Ted referrst to her as "aunt" robin? I sort of don't wanna know who the mother is because then the show will end :(
