and i think, maybe people need to accept that if you see something amazing, directors will take things from different soaps. its not copyrighted, but its not exactly approved of either, but vampire diaries have to stretch that bit more , and kind of away from the story line because its a series. and it needs to add things to keep it consistant.

Im so glad you said that Helen. Vampire diaries was first made around the 1990's. I think the first book was 89. Obv they cant stick to the book because they're making a SERIES people, so they have to change loads of it. Plus, stephenie meyer copied other peoples books and shows, she got most of her stuff off Interview with a Vampire, its a film, pretty good. Anyway. Yes, stop making comparisons, twilight is good, but the acting in it is bad, i mean, stefan and elena seem more attached, involved. Edward and bella, were like, well. They didnt play up to the part which made the first film a train wreck but the second film was alright, mostly cause of Jacob [ L ]. Dont get me wrong, stephenie meyers books are great, but its a shame how the films turned out, but the books are amazing, so is the host. Which will become a film 2011 i think. So anyway. no judging vampire diaries. this is an amazing series worth applauding, also Ian somerhalder, love him as i loved him in lost, stefan is breathtaking and elena is gorgeous (L). roll on 26th for ' A few Good Men ' episodee.

the series vampire diaries is based off of a series of books that were written fifteen years ago, so yes, helen is right, it did come out before the twilight saga.
