Twilight is well better than this but tbf the Vampire Diaries is amazing,
im obsessed with both. but i gotta sayy twilight beats this by far.

twilights good; i've read all the books and movies but vampire diaries is wayy more intense!

i really love this episode, the only thing which is really pathetic is the scene when stefan leaves elena. it is SO like twilight. i know people say these book have been written before twilight was, but it's not about the books. it's the show.. and i really hate that it resembles twilight a lot.. but maybe that's just me.. cause i love this but i HATE twilight... anyways, the salvatore brothers are hoot - way hotter than crappy robert pattinson (;

And the more I look at Stefan, the more he reminds me of Robert Pattinson.

Yes offcourse Alaric is a vampire, come on: the ring, and the doorstep. it's obvious!!
But what i don't get is how Logan can be a vampire: Damon killed him!

i have to say that ian somerhalder does not wear his role very well. his "tough" facial expressions does not come across as believable and is kinda embarrassing

The vampire diaries series was written before the twilight one so Stephenie Meyer probably read as many other vampire novels as possible to get more information. I personally think this series is way better then the 'sparkly' vampires of twilight
