Maybe because Lucas is not an 'hour' event, he is a LIFETIME. With Katie the trauma is less permanent, because she can choose to see or not to see her. But when she lets Lucas back into her life he will always be there, and the reasons why this is so painful and frightening were mentioned in an earlier episode (when she projects her own feelings onto one of the patients).

For the mother-child relationship to work, she has to TRULY heal, and being able to face Katie was the first step. I'm GLAD she didn't mention her son or want to see him because that wouldn't be the case with everyone.

Re: Pete & Violet, you may not be the only one - but I think Violet and Pete make a MUCH stronger couple. I don't get why people are clinging to this Addison & Pete ideal, as I couldn't think of a more boring couple; Violet & Pete. Cooper is too childish for Violet.

That was super cute when Pete was saying “come back to me” to Violet. Even though I always prefered Pete+Addison.

So someone explain this to me: They didn't completely lose the trial did they? Katy still doesn't go free – shouldn't they charge her for like mental instability or something and submit her to an asylum? Because “delusional” like Violet said would mean she still needs serious help! Whether or not she was not herself when she attacked Violet.

I'm really confused, when i watched this episdoe it was the one with the cat, but then i watched the next episode and its the same thing, i think i've missed this one, or its in the wrong order, please help.
