By far the best episode we've had since this season started. Grey's Anatomy is one of those few shows that's still going strong...by the time most shows get to season 3, they look like they're struggling for storylines. Hopefully Grey's will keep it up..though Izzie definitely needs to come back and Meredith needs more screentime. But yeah, considering that one is pregnant and one is busy with her movies, Grey's is doing pretty well. Still wish they come back into the main storylines soon though :)

Derek is soooo right!!! if Weber had retired nothing of this would happend :(
  • cat
What derek meant was that it was really the chiefs fault, because it was his 'system' that failed. At least that's how i understood it!
great episode, but for a second there i thought i had missed one in between..
  • Adnan
This was a very cleaver episode, brilliantly executed, I couldn't tell till the very end who was responsible for what happened. Full of suspense and drama. 10/10!
  • nessa
G.A is just amazing yang was so right in the end and haha nose-dive
  • Lilow
i believe it is really the best episode so far in 6th season! :) but can you please help me to understand what that poor woman actually suffered from? something that starts from s? english is not my mother language. i would love to know what exactly it was. thx

When someone's in the middle of the smoke, one can burn the upper airway (mouth and throat) and lower airway (bronchi and lungs)... if she had looked to her throat she would see ashes and she would be able to predict that it was going to swell and needed emergency intubation to prevent the colapse... huge medical mistake.. understandable under that caos...
  • mangowhip
It was from soot in her throat.
  • Mandi
she was in a fire and soot or ashes got in her lungs, causing them to fail
  • Name
sooth .... was blocking the airway and she got a massive inflammation causing constriction of the airway not allowing her to breathe.

GA's best episode!!!! so full of tension and suspense, i was gripping the edge of my chair from beginning to end. very intense
  • Ami

Were we supposed to feel sorry for April that she got fired? I felt more sorry for that poor kid and his father and that poor poor woman.
  • Shannon
I must watch the show too much. I caught the mistake. She was distracted but when she turned around she should have finished the exam.
  • Terri
I caught the mistake too! I knew from the beginning that she was the one to blame. Almost got Alex though cause of the same initals. That would have sucked if they had not investigated.
  • Rajaa
veeery nice and unique one !! instead of retiring one person.. a lot of persons have been fired.. selfish chief
  • anna
wow! this season's BEST episode so far!!! and clever way to hide ellen pompeo's pregnancy..:)
  • Dacs

  • Aysha
    GO GA <3333
  • omniapixy
I found it very much like 'An Inspector Calls' with it realy being everyone's fault because no one realy seemed to care. Yes in the end it ws due to a certain doctor not looking at her throat but I believe everyone had a role to play. This was inevitable. Everyone's so busy looking after their own backs that their minds arn't on the job anymore. This was a great episode

However you find the story line, the soundtrack never suffers. Although the show is hugely famous all over the world they still choose artists you don't know but you'd like to discover after you heard them on GA.
  • Alisah
Yes...the songs on Grey's Anatomy are so great. Whenever I hear a song on an episode and I don't know the name or artist I check at www.heardontv.com

Ok the season started a bit slow for me, I'm a person who doesn't take well to change at first so it's taken me time to adjust to the fact that my favourite Izzy has now left the show and I'm not seeing much of meredith (due to her pregnancy) but I am slowly but surely getting to like some of the new character's. This was the best episode this season so far, I knew it was when the 2 nurse's was doing their examinations uncompleted that caused the mother to die due to their egos of wanting the best traumas get in the way, but this is exactly the type of behaviour that you'd expect when there's no good direction or system from chief Weber (I think it's time he stepped down and retired) then maybe they can sort out a system for these new and old doctors to work together in and then maybe some lives can be saved and room for some love interest, dramas and all of the above that made me fall in love with all the old doctors from season 1-5. Nice to see that Grey's Anatomy is still going strong and that's what makes it one of the greats..... Thank you cucirca and I love the new layout....xoxo.
  • Saska
Very interesanting episode...And Derek is so right, there is so many doctors who don`t trust each other...That`s why they make mistakes..
  • crashY
no, i don't think it's about retiring or not... It's just simply about the merger.... They didn't plan anything about how to integrate the two staffs... They didn't had any rules or "system" elaborated on how to make the two groups into one... In the previous episode they were competing and all were afraid of losing their jobs instead of working together just because they didn't know what to expect. Weber as a leader makes a lot of mistakes, he shouldn't have fired people by email at first and then he should have had better communication..communication would have saved all!
It was really a great episode, so far season 6 was boring, this was good!!
  • Doctor_D
Greys anatomy.!!!!, i saw what i saw, the name gave me a feeling that its going to be a blame game, but what an episode. time flew like seconds. its a thriller as well as totally greys anatomy.

m sorry for the kiddo being fired but will look forward for her coming back some time..lolz...fantasy...!!!! are u hearing shonda...

if this episode is not taking weber any where out of SG then i think this one would work platform for bring the 2 teams more closer.
    three cheers.. hip hip hurray..lolz....
  • Alisah
I also thought it was like a thriller and how each doctor had their own story of what they saw. Derek is right--it isn't just one doctor, but too many doctors who don't know each other or trust each other. Derek is implying that perhaps Chief Weber is responsible
  • seattlechick
i agree best episode this season, very gripping and heart-rending for that woamn and her little boy. richard should leave the show
  • Foxfall

  • tanvi
m the first one hereeee :D
  • Kara
it's finally up! Thank you! :>
  • Mother_Bates
Great episode. I can admit some episodes have a hard time keeping my attention for all scenes. But this one, I couldn't believe when it was over as it was so good. Sad to see how no one could be accountable and a life was lost. Things have been really off since the merger.

LOVED Metric playing at the beginning!

    10/10
  • Aron
Score one for Seattle Grace Hospital! :D
  • peanuts93
