I can't understand the people whinging about the plot-line, if you don't enjoy it anymore and/or find it blasphemous simply close the screen; you are in control of what you watch.

I hate this storyline I liked the series much more when they where just doing missions and stuff.

actually a lot of people care. Hollywood shouldn't keep perverting concepts to fit their desires, especially religion. A truly good series would figure out how to properly work within the bounds of all the concepts they wished to explore instead of sorely insulting something while they lazily just change the bits that don't quite work easily for them.
Religion is and has been an integral part of people's lives since. . . well, for thousands and thousands of years. Clearly it is important to people, and as such hollywood should at least show it half an ounce of respect.

I'm sorry but you seem to be forgetting that every fantasy/sci fi out there is a 'perversion' of concepts as you put it. Supernatural is not saying that this is hard fact or that it's based on solid religion. In fact for all you know this could be a parellel world where all this is true.

There is no one concept or idea, even in religion everybody has their own version, so just let them create a story of their own telling, with their own concept of ideas.

ok EXCUSE ME supernatural is a HOLLYWOOD show....all the talk of religion....and its concept in this show is relatively ficticious.....and by the way I was refering to the apocalpse as religion so you would understand what im takling about but this topic has NOTHING to do with religion as I said this interpretation of the apocalypse is ficticious as HOLLYWOOD will not portray the truth due to the fact that the real story would ruin supernaturals story plot cause after...its FAKE, though it is somehow based ...if your confused about the end of days just read REVELATIONS in the bible ...last book in the bible (for those who are completely ingnorant to the word of God)

A documentary would probably teach even less, actually. You'd be surprised at the objectivity of some filmmakers. Additionally, with a concept like religion, which is entirely subjective, there is little room for objectivity anyway, thus negating the initial usefulness any such documentary might present.

Don't worry guys Dean and Sam will be together once again. I watched this thing on Comic Con and it said this season will be all about getting them back together, back on track as the Dean and Sam we all know and love.

Okay back to business. I'm not a religious person, and I swear, watching season four, and now this season, I've learned more about God, Angels, Lucifer, and all of that than I have my entire life. I also adored the concept of the four horsemen where War was driving the RED Mustang...Ha ha :] But the story line is getting really good. I'm so excited for this season, I mean I've waited for it long enough. ^_^

why would you learn about God, angels, lucifer and stuff from hollywood? everybody knows that it's fictional. wanna learn about God? read His Book.
