I think Nancy looked that way because he is back in alliance with the powerful Mexicunt. The woman who threatened to kill her son. She is probably responsible for the guy shooting Shane. No wonder Nancy didn't like it. I think she's not in love with Esteban anymore.

Nancy didn't look "vague to me, she looked pissed. I have two guesses:

1. Nancy is done with both Esteban and Pilar, time to move again before season 6. She gave the ring to Andy as a sign of her change of heart.

2. Nancy is done with Pilar, but not Esteban. She gave the ring to Andy as a sign of finally moving on from Judah, because she's going to have Pilar killed (or do it herself).
