wow! if you don't think nancy's a bad mother, i hope to God you do not have children. What's a mother suppose to be like? Well for starters, they shouldn't be DRUG DEALERS who jeopardize the LIVES of their children for an expensive life style. She's completely emotionally unavailable to her children, allowing her thirteen year old child to have sex while she's too busy spending the night with her boyfriend whose in the Mexican Mafia. If that doesn't scream bad mother, I'm not sure what does... maybe her being too concerned with her own love life to pay attention to her children and dragging them into her dangerous lifestyle, allowing her youngest son to GET SHOT. I have been utterly disgusted with the character of Nancy this season. I hope this episode is a warning for her, which is what it appears to be. And for those of you who say she's just doing the best she can to provide for her family... look at mothers who work legitmate jobs and have mediocre lifestyles but are there for their children emotionally, rather than financially. THOSE ARE GOOD MOTHERS.

*If you look closely you'll notice the man walking by from the left, not hiding in the bushes.
*The man is fairly tanned, meaning that it cannot be andy, who's pale as a ghost. Also it cannot be guillermo, he's locked away in jail.
*Shane was shot in the upper arm, probably around the shoulder.

I heard something about a writers strike over there last year? So, i'm guessing they got some educationally subnormal chimpanzee to put season 5 together, then regretted it, and finished the season halfway through when even the chimp admitted that he was churning out little more than pure dogshit.

oh...sadness....why can't the writing be more consistent? so many great episodes this season, but what is going on w/ the whole breast sucking scene and the boring stuff between them in bed? it really just wasn't that funny. where is the unhumorous humor coming from? male writers who aren't getting enough? please give us some more good shows! great ending though...

ok, nancy is a good mother, she has done some pretty crazy things so her kids have a roof over her head and food to eat, and as far as the drining and breast feeding goes, if you pump before hand so that there is enough for the baby until the alcohol gets out of your sysytem, its fine, thats one of the reasons women pump. Please dont judge about something you know nothing about.

Andy is the best. He is a much better father than Nancy will ever be a mother.

Erik, I am pretty sure that was a gangster that tried to asassinate Estavan & by mistake through all the cross-fire, Shane got shot. Andy was still in the house

i find nancy somewhat disgusting as a mother... she's taken a nose dive since season one... drinking and breast feeding? i know it's the writers. i still love the show though. i'm sure there's no chance she'll actually marry the guy and have a happy ending. btw- the breast milk swallow scene was nasty as hell! yuk!!!
