ok, in my opinion its not the best episode so far, but its still awesome. loving the story even though its alot different from the books. but there both reli good. i still cant believe eric had his hair cut tho, i thought the point of his long hair was symbolic of his age??!! AND PLEASE this story is nothing like twilight or any other vampire series. they all came from books and if you actually read the books youll find no comparison.

there are so many vampire stories both books and tv shows and they have been around for a reli long time i think the myths of vampires has been around longer than most things. so it will always seem like something is ripping off something else.

so my advice is stop tripping and learn to be an objective viewer, there not the same and deal with it just cuz u like one more than another doesnt mean you can compare it. i like ice cream more than uni work but there completely different. and thats what comparing these shows are like. you cant really not if you know your stuff about them!!

everyone just needs to chill out and enjoy the show
who cares about twilight or vampire diaries or whatever, vampire stories aren't exactly new, people are just taking the concept of vampires and making it there own
ok sparkly vampires are gay but thats Meyer's interpretation so let her and whoever like it have it

just for your info, the book series that True Blood is based off of was actually written before the Twilight series. Therefore, True Blood is the original and Twilight is the copy. Can't believe that Stephanie Meyer didn't get sued for copyright infringement.

it is all about vampires who lets face it are fiction!the details(like teeth,burning procedures or even clothing)are up to the director and the writer!! so enjoy the myth or the legend and stop critisizing or even insulting someones hard work!if you don't like something just don't watch it again...!! :)

1) twilight is for above 11+. 2)true blood is for above 16+ cuz of somethings. (ahem..like sex and nude people and things unsuitable for kids.)
3) both vampire stories are about vampires. 4)twilight vampires's sparkle (cool!!), true blood vamps burn (cool too!)5)twilight vamps have razor sharp teeth, TB vamps have fangs.

The only person I like from twilight is Jacob... the rest is terrible, this show is far better and the acting is much better as well! Love it!... has lots of sex though haha :P

true blood (or the southern vampire mysteries books) came first, i read the first three when i was about 12, (im 17) bit bad really as there just as explicit as the show
