Based on the “Sookie Stackhouse” book series (also known as The Southern Vampire Mysteries) by Charlaine Harris, created and produced by Alan Ball, True Blood is a vampire drama both scary and sexy which takes you in an intriguing world wherein vampires and humans coexist. On the strength of a Japanese scientist who invented the synthetic blood, vampires developed from legendary monsters into fellow citizens. Although human creatures have been apparently taken out of the main course, a lot of people still fear the creatures that burst out of the grave. While government officials and religious leaders chose their sides, in Bon Temps, a small northern Louisiana town, things are in balance.

The series revolves around Sookie Stackhouse, a waitress who, sad to say, knows very well how it feels to be a castaway she was cursed to read people’s minds. Sookie is open-minded about the coexistence of vampires and humans in Bon Temps, especially when it comes to Bill Compton, a handsome 173 year old boy living “next door”. Her tolerance will be put to the test when she will be lost into a series of mysteries surrounding Bill’s arrival in town. Characterized by the Emmy winning Ball as “popcorn for smart people”, the series will take you on a bloody and wild ride

I've watched twilight and i can say i didn't think at all it was such a great movie. The books where a lot better then that stupid movie.

And btw. True Blood is MUCH better than twilight. (A)

p.s twilight is amazing, but apprantly the next movie is supposed to be greater than twilight (because it was directed by a man) there will be more action and emotion. but from what i can tell,POSSIBLE SPOILER AHEAD: bellas deppresion is a bit over-the-top!!!!

It took some time, but HBO has finally made the official announcement that the hit show True Blood has been picked up for a third season!
Alan Ball is planning to shoot the first episode of Season 3 before Christmas. True Blood will be back with the third season in 2010.

I am absolutely addicted to this series!!! I love.. love.. love it!! :) I hated how the last episode of season 1 ended... but thats usually how it goes, leaves ya hangin! I can not way till June 14th.. TWO DAYS AWAY!!!!!!! WOO HOO! By the way, I can't believe that the killer turned out to be him..... Is it bad that I wish our world held supernatural beings??? lol and DAMN did that "V" look good... im sure some of yall out there know what i mean ;)
