“House M.D.” follows the life of a brilliant diagnostician who, with the help of his amazing team, does whatever it takes to solve puzzling cases. Dr. Gregory House’s world renowned department only receives patients who have very rare diagnoses, but realistic… “a conglomeration of all the worst things that can happen to people from all over the world, crammed into one little community” (Andrew Holtz). The patients are usually misdiagnosed and under the circumstances, receive the wrong treatment which leads to further complications.

Using the new symptoms, House and his team manage to put the correct diagnosis. Believe it or not, often their mission is made heavy because the patients lie about symptoms and circumstances. Our diagnostician believes in an edict: “All patients lie.” They lie about how bad they actually feel, about where they were when they first felt sick and even about their own bad habits.

The series also centers on House’s drug addiction. Because of a leg injury, he is addicted to Vicodin, but says: “(The pills)… let me do my job and they take away my pain.” Though House is unquestionably a brilliant diagnostician, he is cynic, misanthrope, a stiff neck and difficult man. Despite that, his great team, formed by the oncologist James Wilson, House’s only friend, Dr. Eric Foreman, a neurologist with a troubled past, Dr. Robert Chase and the immunologist Dr. Allison Cameron who sparks with the always distant House, supports him.

Where his colleagues can not find solutions, like a real police investigator, Dr. House discovers the source of evil that threatens the life of a patient. I read on the Fox/House forum that there will be extra clips of the cast after each episode since the last one. Anyone knows if they are uploaded anywhere? If possible, Alisah, could you upload these clips with the episodes here too? Would really love to watch it coz it won't be available in my country. Thanks.

hey guys. Just imagine you were cuddy on this stressful day. Everything seems to go wrong and then house comes along and trys to infect someone with malaria :-)
and something like that on a dayli basis...

I love this series. there is an episode i don't know which one and from which season which foreman does the clinic duties instead of house and is sued by a woman, which then house steps on her with a stick. can anyone tell me which one it is pls?

True, this show is called House..not Cuddy... There was an entire episode in Season 6 Episode 9 entitled "Wilson" that was devoted entirely to Wilson and we the viewers got to see the world through Wilson's eyes .
I suppose you don't like the character of Cuddy !

Yeah, the Wilson episode kind of annoyed me aswell. Well lets hope that everything in the next episode will get back to normal. Lets just hope they dont do an episode about Chase or Cameron, because they will most definatly be boring!

Well it may have been boring for you, but this episode gave us a clearer picture of how stressful Cuddy's job as hospital administrator is and at the same time being a mother. We get to see things through Cuddy's eyes

It also isn't called "Zero character development". Even though we see the episode through Cuddy's eyes, we also discover something new about House. We always side with him when he interacts with Cuddy since we don't really understand what she's dealing with. Now we learn how much of a jerk he really appears to Cuddy.

i disagree about the episode "wilson" though. it gave us a chance to see how house's cases look to everyone else without knowing all the background story. it made me realise how crazy it all actually is :-)
