they are making such a big deal about that Lily and Rufus/ Serena and Dan! I mean what's the problem? they're not related at all even if Lily and Rufus would get married... not even if they have a child in common... Am I the only one who thinks like this??

On the voicemail and Rufus didn't go on the trip with Lily because Cece told him that she'll never be able to move on if they were together. And he found out from that piece of paper that Lily had a baby from him, we don't know what happened to it yet, but that's why at the end he said, "JUst tell me something, was it a boy or a girl."
