no the plot of the show deviates from the plot of the books. alan ball intended for them to be different so that anyone who read the series would still watch the show and it wouldn't be boring or anticlimactic. =) that's what i thought would happen and then i started reading the books and they're very different but both equally good and compelling. so feel free to read and watch both the books and the show!!

Vitamin B12 has absolutely nothing to do with acute weakness after blood loss. If she's planning to let him drain her every night she should take an iron supplement to prevent anemia. I know, I know, its a fictional universe…but still….vitamin B12 makes no sense. Its like one of the writers vaguely remembers taking nutrition class in college but doesn't remember what they said.

B12 will helps the body produce red blood cells. Iron deals with hemoglobin, which is what helps cells carry oxygen. She's not anemic, she feels weak because of blood loss. That's y he suggests it to her. So, my suggestion to you would be to study a little harder before you try to sound smart, because you ended up just sounding stupid.

Iron “deals with hemoglobin” in that it is needed to make functional hemoglobin, which is needed to make functional red blood cells. Yes, B12 is needed to make DNA (and hence, RBCs) and a lack of B12 will in the long run cause pernicious anemia (with demyelinating symptoms, etc.). But here's the thing- the human body stores up to a year's supply of B12. You don't lose it when you bleed. Losing lots of blood makes you anemic because you have fewer blood cells and therefore can't carry enough oxygen around as efficiently. The suggestion that B12 will help her to replenish her blood stores is rather silly, as blood loss entails a direct loss of heme (iron) and not of B12.

>Bill looked so young and clean in the first 1-2 episodes and then suddenly aged 10 years! ? A slight hair cut and a 3 day growth did nothing for him.
Bill, grow your hair and shave more…..
