True Blood Season 1 Episode 2 The First Taste

wow, harsh. I don't mind it. Twilight's way more romancy, you know what!? i'm REALLY sick of everything being compared to twilight, this i have decided.

This is an interesting series ... its sooo hard for me to watch it though! i love twilight. i will admit it. but i started reading the books way before they were popular. Yea i know everyone says that haha but its true annnd ... i love twilight. this series is a knock off ... a girl who can read minds ... but not his? ... saving a life by drinking their blood ... yadda yadda yadda. its pretty much the same thing ... but yea they shouldnt be compared for age maturity reasons. but this is just a cheesy show filled with rednecks, booze, and boobs. i cant watch another episode.

and the people are ugly

Twilight is just very plain and morally degrading for women. That girl from twilight is so submissive. Little children can watch twilight, but not True blood.

Twilight made vampires boring and normal. This show seems to make them more like the original legends.

For anyone that doesn't know i found this out a coupla days ago: When megavideo pops up with that annoying message saying you cant watch anymore for an hour, turn your router on and off at the wall or something. Voila! That resets your IP Address, and you can start watching straight away :)

OK, first things first:
1.Twilight is for teenage girls (and boys)
2. True Blood is obviously aimed for an adult audience
So they really shouln't be compared to each other...
And I've read Twilight, but I like True Blood ALOT better...

I agree with you. I read Twilight too. People should see the content of the book, Twilight, compare into this. They might have the same theories about vampires but the culture and environment is different. Though the setting both take place in a country type. I'm going to like this. Its not that I'm so fan of vampires but how the story goes, it do a lot for me.

This show isn't too bad and people don't compare shows i know everyone loves twilight i would too if there vampires weren't so......... well are they even vampires if they glimmer in the sunlight? And compared to the movie twilight and this show i can honestly say this show is much better and it even shows what hypocritical views society has on racism sex and drugs.but what you should know is this happens everyday prostitution, drugs, violence, yaddi yaddi yadda. So don't judge a show based on the first episode and besides i thought it was a porno the first time i watched it was really confused cause it said it was about vampires..... really awkward

True Blood does show a real veiw on life as it can be, its harsh and twilight just dosnt show that...

Why don't you stop comparing True Blood with Twilight?
I know they are both about vampires (and I love them both by the way!), but they are totally different.
There is no comparison possible between them.

Well to be honest i think twilight and trueblood are great. They are both based on good books and both have good plots. bill in thisss is really ugly

I dont understand why people compare Twilight and True Blood, only thing similar about them is that they have vampires in it, and i like both, but for those who only like twilight, why waiste time commenting on this saying its better? if it better then go talk about it somewhere else not here

@Azzy I thought the same thing, but then I watched it. Once you get passed the hickdom it's an amazing show. I love Twilight but it is a bit ridiculous...okay a lot ridiculous...but I still like it. But you really can't compare the two.

Now...why can't I see ep 2? I just watched ep 1....hm...I'm gonna try that router thing and cross my fingers. I'll be upset if I have to start season 2 not knowing what's going on....

I'm finding this series ALOT more interesting than Twilight.. Which is poorly written, the movie poorly cast and acted..

I find this series also has a huge gay undertone and seems to go on with whats happening with gay rights.. possibly racism too.
