True Blood Season 1 Episode 1 Strange Love

Duh they live in Louisiana, and the accents are so annoying! They are fake also. I couldnt believe it when i realized they were going to talk like this the whole movie. Its just a bunch of dumb rednecks who sound even more dumb.

ok so i'm reading the books right now because i felt like i should read the books before i get anymore hooked onto this series. And to those complaining about the accents, hello they live in Louisiana thats in the southern U.S. in case you guys didn't know because you cant read a map. And obviously this show must be good since its been nominated for the Emmy for best drama this year.

this episode is annoying and the southern accents are really annoying. Ugh i dont think i can listen to any more southern accents. Whos idea was that?

Seriously sick of all the knockoff vampires these days. I could tell from the intro to this show it was going to be horrible. I tried to laugh off the bad dialogue and cliche interactions but it started to hurt trying to give the characters a chance to interest me. Here is one more symptom of the human race getting dumber. They watch shows like this.

This was around long before Twilight and the Vampire Diaries. The books came out in 2001 and they started developing the series long before Vampires became big

I second that! I also think it's very ignorant of this person to badmouth a show due to personal taste - not to mention sad that they've taken the time to write a comment about how ignorant they are, now that is a symptom that the human race is getting dumber not the viewing of this show!

You mean "arrogance". Ignorance would mean I hadn't taken the time to properly assess the pilot episode, instead making a bias presumption without giving it the benefit of the doubt. I watched this limp porno because of its hype only to realize why its so popular (hint: the rating might have something to do with it). Not my problem if you can't handle a fair assessment. Happy viewing.

Hver gang jeg blir ferdig med en bok, gleder jeg meg til å se den på tv eller online :) ha et litt emr åpent sinn å se mere av de episodene i sesongen, jeg har lest den tredje boka å jeg tror den tredje sesongen er gørr bra.. -Club dead! første sesong er ikke den gøyeste sesongen, men jeg ble forelsket i serien når jeg så den første episoden av den første sesongen. og ja, jeg ble bare helt forelska!

this is kind of shitty. its boring and way too confusing for a first episode. but i'll keep watching to see why the people i know like it. (cause i wouldnt watch past this one if i wasnt trying to figure out why people like it)

It would be funny if there were actual Vampires and Fang Bangers in Shreveport. Would have made my 5 and a half years being based there more interesting.

I think I like Vampire Diaries better, with the love triangle and all, it's more intense and dramatic...

Ugh . Vampire Diaries is a like Rated G compared to True Blood. True Blood is the better show, better cast as well. Definitely need to invest in watching this show and not that crap!

I want to watch this because im into the whole vampire scene in films and tele etc and i was glued to vampire diaries, however thats taking tooo long to be on the site so i wanted to watch this and your videos aren't working :( is there any way you could fix them please? or let me know another site that would have them? xx

i would always recomend that any one who watches this and likes it they better read the sookie stackhouse series of books first

omg i can't believe i haven't discovered that show earlier! it's beyond awesome! the whole idea of vampires being the legitimate citizens is really, really interesting and original. the vampire topic has been overly popular lately and you could easily get fed up with it, but this show is just so different from all the other series or movies, where vampire always fell in good, pure love with mortals and protect them, blah, blah, blah. i love that it's so rough and dirty ;P that's what i think vampires would be like if they existed, very sexual, dangerous and hot, not some lame punks!

btw, the name Sookie is really funny to me, because if you pronounce it, in my language (polish) it means 'bitches'. LOL
