I always love when the characters act so weird or so passionate about things that seem to inconsequential, but then you find out the reason why and it all falls into place. ie, Debrah being so insistent that Dex is there for his child, that Dex be a great father, that Dex always be there for the child - and then you find out why. Because she didn't have that kind of a relationship with her father. Heh, I love this show for that kind of realism.
