man all season 5 is a flashback because john visited all of them,and for the off islandres 3 years have passed since they got of the island,season 5 is showing us flashbacks and the present,for locke,sawyer juliet and the rest-the offislanders(jack and the group)are still on the choper,but for jack(john is dead)and he only knows that bad things happend(time shifts).i dont know what is going to happen next cause is a 3 years difeerence betwen them.When they will return to the island they will say"i havent see u in 3 years"and sayer will say"u were gone for a few days what do u mean 3 years"its confusing cand wait till next week
