so jack’s father is jacob. how ridiculous has lost become? season 1 was the best. if i was watching once a week i would have given up a long time ago due to how very little happens in each episode, you don’t realise how much they eek out the storyline when you can just watch one episode after another.

I don't think jack's father is really jacob...it's pretty much just the form he chose to manifest in...like walt & Yemi...Lost is pretty much just a big puzzle with jumbled pieces (episodes) randomly presented...you would have to possess an incredible memory to actually get everything that's going on...that's what makes the show tedious...yet brilliant...long live lost...

Wouldn't it be better to try and figure out what's happened and what's going on, instead of not understanding anything and basing an hypothesis of future events on a misunderstood present..?

Get with the programme before you start speculating where it's going.
It's better to think about where something's been and where it is and have those things sorted before you decide where something is going.
That way, you may actually come up with a direction that is based upon where everything has come from and its relative position to its previous course.

A bit like mapping an object's path through space and time.

Juliette has something to do with every baby born on the island since she was the only gynecological researcher (or whatever she is... baby.. doctor... thing) that was ever on the island. She was involved in Aaron's birth and did tests and stuff on Sun. As for the other...
