Americans might be stupid on some aspects but not all. Because you live someplace that you believe Americans have no knowledge of doesn't mean that that fact is true. Portugal is not forgotten. American Junior High teachers test their students on stuff like that. 6th graders do reports on places not located in the US. People who don't know this kind of stuff don't know because they don't really care. which is sad. I know so many Americans who are way smarter than me. I agree that movie makers don't always do justice to people but their job is to only entertain.
