Summary:
It all starts with the killing of Sam and Dean Winchester’s mother, Mary, by an unknown thing while Sam was still a baby. After twenty-two years, Dean makes an appearance at Sam’s college to tell him that their father left on a hunting trip but hasn’t checked in for two weeks.
Leaving all arguments aside the two brothers leave to find their father in a town named Jericho where there have been sudden disappearances without a trace. After solving the mystery, Sam returns to his girlfriend only to find her killed by the same thing that killed their mother.
