i agree! can't stand charlotte either but she's right. it's difficult to watch something like this go on between the man you love. at the same time though, cooper is just being there for his violet. she has no one else. and that's what friends are for. i don't know who to side with!

Yes, but there are also boundaries within friendship. What I will say though is Charlotte brought this on herself, with her blowing hot and cold. Why should Cooper choose her over Violet, when their relationship is not even stable.

Violet is not innocent in this and she is getting on my nerves. It would be different if the father had chosen to abandon her, but he hasn't – she just isn't interested in having him around (whoever he is). That is selfish and irresponsible.
