buenas,,, solo por comentar, en argentina gusta mas la version estadounidense,,, en lo personal, la primera version que vi fue la inglesa y no me enganche,,, cuando vi la version con steve carrel la serie me atrapo.

Ha ha. It does not matter if he wrote the show or not, it's Steve Carrell that makes this show great. And yes, i have seen the UK version. It does not even compare to the American verson slightly. Obviously, otherwise, Steve wouldn't be the number one tv sitcom actor and money maker- Ricky would! I don't think that he is even nearly close to the top, much less number one.

dude… ricky gervais and steven merchant wrote the entire show.. steve carrell is looking at ricky gervais's script when hes reading his lines, he writes every episode… so to say we have a bland and boring sense of humor is almost a joke in itself.

have you even seen the office UK version before? ricky like makes the entire show what it is. before he put pen to paper the office was living inside of their heads. so to say the people who bought the american rights to the show are doing a better job is kind of messed up.

i've just watched the latest episode of season six, then recommended the office to a friend as she hadn't seen it from the start. watching this episode makes me wonder why i watched it in the first place! the american office comes into its own from the second season onwards and it's full of it's own charm and wit in the latter seasons. to all of those thinking of starting to watch the office, stick with it, get used to the characters and you'll love it after the first few episodes. by the way, i'm british and i think the american office is ten times better!

when kevin speaks to angela near the beginning he talks in his normal voice so at this stage he doesn't have that wierd voice he does usually ……it was so wierd to hear him speak differently lol!!!!
