The Office Season 1 Episode 1 Pilot

i've just watched the latest episode of season six, then recommended the office to a friend as she hadn't seen it from the start. watching this episode makes me wonder why i watched it in the first place! the american office comes into its own from the second season onwards and it's full of it's own charm and wit in the latter seasons. to all of those thinking of starting to watch the office, stick with it, get used to the characters and you'll love it after the first few episodes. by the way, i'm british and i think the american office is ten times better!

when kevin speaks to angela near the beginning he talks in his normal voice so at this stage he doesn't have that wierd voice he does usually ......it was so wierd to hear him speak differently lol!!!!

for the record i'd like to say i started with the second series which is way better than this. all these people sayin how much they h8 this should watch it later on, this episode is crap, i'll giv u tht but rickey gervais is such a letch ew! with tht beard and the thing with the tie yuk!

It took some time to find its personality, but this show kicks the heck out of its British parent, who is just mean, nasty, and flat. (BTW, this is from someone who lives on BBC otherwise).

After watching this episode and reading the comments, I decided to watch the British version just to see what all the fuss was about... the British version sucks compared to this. lol ;p

It may be a rip off, but its way better imo.

i totally thought the british version was too creepy, it made me cringe, i think i acctually pissed my self laughing watching this show! give it a chance
