Weeds is another great American dark comedy television series. The plot revolves around a widowed housewife from an affluent California suburb who becomes an upper-middle-class marijuana dealer to make ends meet.

After her husband’s unexpected death and subsequent financial woes, suburban mom Nancy Botwin (Parker) embraces a new profession: the neighborhood pot dealer. As it seems like everyone secretly wants what she’s selling — even city councilman Doug Wilson (Nealon) — Nancy is faced with keeping her family life in check and her enterprise a secret from her neighbor/pseudo-friend/PTA president, Celia Hodes (Perkins).

I heard season 5 starts in June 2009 but some of you say May 2009. Either way, enjoy it because it’s the last season. Showtime didn’t order anymore episodes from the writers.

I just got told about weeds two weeks ago and sense then i have watched every episode in season one two and three and cant get enough…..is this showreally going to be over after season 5 though?
When does ep 02 airs?
It will air next Monday and I guess it will be available here Tuesday morning. I really hope it’s a male child. I mean it has to be, what would Weeds do without Nancy?

But you do have internet? Well, search for an episode guide of Weeds then (use google, type in “weeds episode guide”). It usually includes a summary of the next episodes and the air dates. You can also visit youtube to see sneak peeks and promos. This way you are always up to date.

Weeds is one of my favourites because it’s really, really funny. It’s absurd, unexpected and full of trash people with a lot of interesting things to say. I started watching from episode one again and I still enjoy it. One of my favourite sentences: “You are taking pussy to a whole new level.” All those actors are doing a great job in my opinion, especially Mary-Louise Parker (Nancy).
