The mystery girl is the girl who ted marrys aka 'the mother'.. well thats what i think why else would they not show her face.. And she is blonde likein some other episodes when you only see her a little bit.

I meant Ted's wife might be Stella. I think the mystery girl in this episode is someone else :)

I think it's Stella the Dermatologist! It makes sense since she's blonde and was also at "a" St. Patrick's day party. Also the introduction to the last episode (when he 1st sees her) only makes sense if it is the mother. ...on top of that, at the end of episode 12 he says something about not knowing it but his luck was finally beginning to change. I could be completely wrong of course!
