She was at the entrance holding the yellow umbrella (a few episodes back he referred to the yellow umbrella and the mother) that he ends up leaving with when he goes to find his phone. It's possible they never showed her face at all in this episode but it may also have been the woman who bumps into him at the club (the mother and that woman were both in jeans). Ted repeatedly says the mother was at the party.
