Family Guy is an American animated TV Show about a mad family that lives in the fictional town of Quahog, Rhode Island.

Created by Seth MacFarlane, Family Guy is an explosive animated series which follows the adventures of the dysfunctional Griffin family.

Peter Griffin is a blue-collar worker, as daft as a bush, but well-intentioned. A former Miss Teen Rhode Island, his wife Lois is homemaker and occasionally teaches piano lessons. The two have three children: Meg, their teenage daughter, who due to her lack of popularity is the aim of his father’s pranks, Chris, an overweight and unintelligent boy and Stewie, a diabolical child who behaves and speaks like an adult and dreams of world domination. Joining them is Brian, the family dog. Although he is considered a pet in many respects, Brian engages in human conversations, drinks Martinis, smokes cigarettes or drives a car.

Family Guy was canceled once in 2000, and again in 2002, but strong DVD sales and the large viewership of reruns on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim convinced Fox to resume the show in 2005. It is the first canceled show to be resurrected based on DVD sales.

Alongside the Griffin family, a few colorful neighbors get themselves noticed. Among them rank Glenn Quagmire, an airline pilot with a wanton and deviant sexual behavior, mild-mannered delicatessen owner Cleveland Brown, his wife Loretta and their son Cleveland Jr. and others who are anxiously waiting to be discovered. Known as twisted, sick, politically incorrect and freakin’ sweet, Family Guy will definitely enchain you. The show returns with new episodes on September 27 2009. You wouldn’t like to miss it…
