Some serious questions need to be asked of the producer. The quality of detail is evident in the choice of car for the blond in Cork. The blue Mercedes has right hand drive. See, a lazy producer would have allowed an American left hand drive car. The pub fits, as there are a range of pubs and I'm sure this type its the appeal of the American market. The mobile phone the blond uses is fair enough. not many are going to notice that Sprint is an American provider that wouldn't work in Ireland because the mobile networks operate on different frequencies. Highly unlikely its a tri-band model.
So for all the little details they got right how did they get the Irish accent so badly wrong? Surely one person involved had been to Ireland and knew we don't speak like that? Did they watch the Quiet Man as a reference? So patronising.
