The last two weeks, if you’ve taken a good look to my site, you’d see that I’ve experimented a lot with my adsense ads.
I’ve changed the position, the colors and the number of ads on a page to see which is the best combination.
I came to the conclusion that displaying one single Large Rectangle (336 x 280) after the post title is the best thing.
The first 4 links from an adsense block are the best paid campaigns.
So, I removed the adsense links bellow the top navigation, removed adsense from sidebar and after the post, keeping just the Large Rectangle ad block.
These changes got me less clicks but more money for those hot summer nights that should be spent out drinking beer with my friends 
You should always experiment with your Ads because one small change can make the difference.

Looks like you know what you are doing. hey is it expensive to runa a web site because i have always wwanted to have my own but how can i start and will i make any profit on it? i know since you do you can help me there, i dont want your secret of course but just a guideline..: )

I would say that after you took out few ads your site looks more prof because before that it use to look as if you need $$$

Today I got the approval from adsense to monetize my blog. I will use your advice Cucirca and see how things are going… Off course, I don’t have that much visitors and rss readers, but I hope I’ll kick your ass in time… say like 20-30 years from now
