Clean Your Blog Sidebars

I’ve seen an interesting post over Problogger the last days and I’ve realized that my sidebars were so full of useless things.
It seems that there was too much crap in my sidebars.
So when you have some spare time, clean up your sidebars of unnecessary buttons, links badges or whatever you have there.
I’ve removed: Top Posts, Archives, Calendar, Latest Comments, Most Rated, ReviewMe and made the sidebar title s more visible by adding a little blue background button.
By deleting items like Archives and Calendar you’ll improve your chances to have less duplicate content on the search engines.

Yes, your blog look more organized now. I wish blogger has more options like wordpress. I think once in a while you should post something regarding blogger.com too. Just an idea.
Yeap, your site does look nicer now, cleaner than Paris Hilton’s jail cell.
@askMuslims: I think cucirca doesn’t write about blogger platform because he doesn’t use it. And if he would write about it once in a while as you say, he should write something that not everyone knows. This means he’ll have to work with blogger to find out it’s “secrets”.
But maybe he will, after all.
