May 26th, 2007
Yep, this is the world’s thinnest notebook made by Intel and Ziba Design and it’s great looking and has terrific connectivity.

Intel Metro mobile notebook which is less than 0.7-inch thick about one-quarter of an inch thicker than Motorola’s (MOT) iconic cell phone, making it the world’s thinnest notebook.
Features:
- 0.7-Inch thin magnesium case
- Access to most of cellular, Wi-Fi and WiMax wireless networks
- Small array microphones to cancel out background noise – useful with Skype and other communication software, etc.
- Flash memory used in place of the traditional hard drive
- Integrated fingerprint reader
- No-rim, glass-like cover extends across screen
- Screen brightness automatically adjusts with light sensors
- Built-in video camera
- Backlit keyboard
- Unique case with integrated screen allows you to check email and take part in other activities on the go.

Intel Metro is very thick and chic and would look lovely next to my Motorola V3 RAZR.

So what do you think about this prototype thin laptop?
