Today I finally upgraded to Wordpress 2.2 and you should do it too…
I’ve got some issues with 3columnk2 and wp2.2 because Wordpress has it’s own Sidebar Widgets system and it was messing with the sidebars but they were all fixed thanks to Disable Wordpress Widgets Plugin.
If you’re not 100% sure if you need too upgrade to the latest version of wordpress, you must know that 98% of Old WordPress Blogs Vulnerable.
To upgrade your wordpress blog:
- Backup your files.
- Download the latest version from here.
- Overwrite all your old wordpress files with the new ones.
- Begin the upgrade : http://www.yourblogname.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php
That’s all and it only takes 5 minutes.

So far I’ve been nervous to run 2.2. I’m afraid of losing some plugins. I guess the only way is to give it a shot!

If I did just that, this upgrade, I will have *nothing*, seeing my provider has not got that particular MySQL / PHP versions.
I thought about dropping you this line since not everybody in the world has got the freedom to just tag along with every WordPress release!

Yay!! THANKS SOO MUCH FOR THIS. I was like lost trying to do everything. I knew it was the widgets, but I didn’t know about this plugin! wuhooo…thanks again!
