There are many ways and places to check your website link popularity.
One of my favorites is Popuri.us.
What is Popuri?
A tool to check at-a-glance the link popularity of any site based on its ranking (Google PageRank, Alexa Rank, Technorati etc.), social bookmarks (del.icio.us, etc), subscribers (Bloglines, etc) and more!
Remember that a domain with the “www.” prefix will show different results than the same domain without it. You should try both.

How do they judge the ranking, especially “Alexa” because i know Google does it by some math calculation.
