Google is Testing New Adsense Ads

Initially the ads mainly seemed to be appearing on big websites and I thought they were something premium publishers were testing but in the last couple of days it has become clear that they’re testing them more widely and I’ve seen them on many blogs in quite a few impressions.
Here’s how they look:
Seen on Google Operating System blog.
Banner ad with pictures inset into the ad next to the text of the ad and with tabs along the top that seems to be titled ‘related’ with some tabs after it under the headings of “searches”, ‘web pages” and “video” seen on Ubuntu Forums.
Italics ads seen on FeedBuzzard.
G image seen on many websites.
I prefer the the second type of ads which look very similar with Chitika’s eminimals.

I hope they implement this soon, we need variety..
These certainly look more attractive than what has been out there forever. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how things go when this rolls out on a larger scale.
