11 New Ways to Turn Your iPod into the Ultimate Time-killer
Apple has never been a big player of the gaming industry.
Over the time they’ve tried to transform the iPod in an all-in-one media device.
The consumer electronics maker is rolling out [tag]games[/tag] for the [tag]iPod[/tag] and is in talks with EA about games for the forthcoming [tag]iPhone[/tag].

It recently introduced a lineup of 11 game titles for its fifth-generation video iPod. The games are available for download on iTunes for $4.99 each.
Most of the titles have lush graphics and multiple game-play options and work intuitively with the iPod’s scroll wheel.
“Since the iPod goes with you in your pocket wherever you are, we saw a great opportunity to provide some fun casual entertainment,” says Stan Ng, senior director of iPod Product Marketing. “We picked games people can pick up and play while they’re waiting in line at the grocery store or sitting on the bus.”
Game list: Bejeweled, Tetris, PAC-MAN, Vortex, Zuma, Texas Hold ’Em, Mini Golf, Mahjong, Cubis 2, Royal Solitaire, Sudoku
Maybe the greatest advantage of the iPod is that you can listen to your favorite song while playing Zuma.
