Ana Lucia along with very FEW others are the only ones who are SMART on this friggin island. Ana Lucia is so dam quick and smart. I love her. Yeah she shot Shannon but who cares? That chick was pointless. Her only appeal was that Sayid loved her, for some strange reason. Keep in mind that without Ana Lucia, this group would be all dead. Aside from Eko maybe.
Not a big Michelle Rodriguez fan but Im surprised to say she can actually ACT. Shes quite good and needs to do more roles to show that, by her movies you cant tell that this woman actually has some sort of talent. Shes hot too, in that “imakillyou” type way LOL.
Why does anyone like Shannon is a mystery to me.

This isn't a spoiler by the way…but just my own take on things. I think the island's to do with something each of the characters needed – for e.g. Michael needed to look after his own son rather than have his mother do it, Walt needed to be with his dad, Kate needed to start afresh without hiding from the law, Hurley needed to be somewhere where money and material objects do not matter, Locke needed to walk again – to be independent and free, Claire needed to keep her baby, Charlie needed to give up drugs, etc. I'm not sure what this has to do with the whole storyline though… (:

Wow, what an amazing episode! Ana Lucia saved them all basically, and my GOD Rodriguez is SO HOT. Its unreal. So happy she came on board. I like this group way more lol.
