    I think it was unnessary & wrong for Locke to beat up Charlie. After all Charlie seems to have some kind of emotional/psychological problem in this episode. Some compassion would be good. Also if Charlie was female, would Locke beat her up. I think not. More compassion would be shown to her,I believe.

    You don't beat up an idiot. Would Locke had beat up Charlie if he was female.I think not. Have you notice that many of the male characters are punched, kicked and beaten up but not the female characters. I think theres a lot of violence towards the male sex. Check it out.

    Locke didn't need to beat up Charlie. Charlie needed help & compassion which no one gave.

    I totally agree with you. It was wrong for him to beat up Charlie when what he needed was some compassion and understanding.

    OMG locke did have a right to do it because he took the baby out of the cradle like twice and he burnt down abit of the jungle and he still had loads of the statues which had the heroine in them and just because he said he wasnt using, how is locke supposed to know and also if charlie was a girl you're probably right he wouldnt beat her up but claire probably would of.

    I agree with the Charlie bit but the only reason Eko killed people is because when he was young he took the gun off his brother so his brother didnt have to kill him, and Eko is saying he's a priest because his brother used to be a priest but Eko got him killed by accident and he wants to take after his brother.
