How to Send Bold and Italicized Messages in Google Talk

Best feature of Gtalk chat client it’s the simplicity.

I like it because it’s lightweight and don’t have those flash avatars or ads; nor does it have any option / preference to choose font style, size or color.

Here is the cheat which allows you to send bold or italicized messages:

To send a message in bold you have to add * before and after the message.

*Example* will look like Example

To send a message in italics you have to add _ before and after the message.
_Example_ looks like Example

If you want to make a message bold and italic do something like this:
_*Example*_ and will look like this: Example
