I don't understand how Sylar is still caught after killing the mind controlling girl. And if he could break the glass why didn't he escape sooner?

Sylar didn't kill eden she killed herself because she knew the company would be in jeopardy if he took her power. I'm guessing the people came before he could get out of the cell and the Hatian wasn't around when he broke the glass.

Sylar killed her with his telekinesis he forced her fiinger to pull the trigger even if she did kill herself it wouldnt matter cause sylar would just put his finger in the bullet hole and take the power
